My dear children in the Lord, Greetings to you in Jesus name.

I would like to share a story about a very ordinary man named Peter. This man lived about 2000 years ago. His world was the sea and his house was the boat because that is where he mostly spent his days :   in a boat at the sea. And what did he do there? He did fishing.

Unlike most of us, fishing was not a leisure time hobby for Peter but it was his means of living. All he knew was to fish and he settled for it.

But one fine morning, his course of life changed because Jesus met with Peter. Jesus told him who Peter really was and why he was created. He also said that he can live that kind of life if he will choose to follow Jesus. From then on Peter followed Jesus and became God’s solution in peoples lives- wiping people’s tears, freeing people from sin, delivering people from evil spirits, and healing people of their sicknesses, comforting people of their pain, telling people about God’s love for them. All of this happened, because Peter accepted Jesus’ invitation to follow Him. Jesus changed Peters’ world and sent him to change other people’s  world. And Peter never once regretted for having followed Jesus.

Now, if you speak to Jesus through prayer, He will speak back to you. He will tell you ‘who you are’ and ‘why you were created’. He will also fill you with His Spirit to instruct you, so you can follow Him. He will change your world and make you a blessing for others as-well.    (Jeremiah 33:3)

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Prayer :

Dear God,

I  pray from my heart that you will speak to me and tell me who I really am, and also teach me what I should be just like you taught Peter.

God, please fill me with Your Spirit so I can follow You.
